Kaykas-Wolff Family ’98 Match for the MacKenzie Scott 2020 Fund
The Kaykas-Wolff Family will match all gifts to the MacKenzie Scott 2020 Fund up to $5,000 in total, dollar for dollar. Ms. Scott’s $12 million gift supports our mission of equity and inclusion for student success. Get your gift doubled!
Mental Health/Counseling Center
Our on-campus mental health professionals have seen increased outreach from students who are trying to cope with challenging circumstances in their lives. Mental health services are provided at no cost and are confidential.
Student Loan Relief Scholarship
Faced with uncertain employment prospects, student loans weigh heavily on the mind of many seniors. This scholarship is applied directly to a student’s account to reduce their senior year federal student loan debt amount.
Pride Endowed Scholarship
It’ll provide need-based awards to members of Whittier’s LGBTQIA+ student org, or those students with demonstrated experience in or commitment to working with LGBTQIA+ organizations. Our goal to create the endowment is $50,000.

Anne Nicholas ’83 Endowed Scholarship
In memory of Anne Louise Nicholas (March 22, 1960 – October 29, 2020)
Established from Anne’s and her husband’s estate, this new scholarship will support Whittier students who have an unmet financial need and wish to pursue a career in political science or public affairs.

Alianza de los Amigos Martin Ortiz Fellowship
If we raise $3,500, Victor Griego ’78 will add $1,500. Honoring Martin Ortiz ’48, this fellowship supports Latino students who want to complete an internship or research project. Every year $5,000 must be raised for each award.
Poet Forward Scholarship
The average student faces $10,000 in unmet financial need each year. With unbudgeted out-of-pocket expenses, coming up with these funds is an obstacle to many. This scholarship award will augment the student’s existing financial aid.
Presidential Innovation Fund
The Presidential Innovation Fund is aimed at initiatives that will drive forward innovation on the Poet campus in support of student success.
Thalian Society Endowed Scholarship
Congratulations on completing all 3 challenges! FINAL challenge met, but don’t stop there! All gifts to the Thalian Society Endowed Scholarship will continue to benefit Thalian actives in perpetuity.
