Register for Homecoming 2026!

Your RSVP helps us create the best possible Welcome Home Experience for our Poet community.

All pre-registered guests will receive a commemorative Homecoming pin at check-in at the Poet Fest Fan Zone only! Collect the full set of this year’s exclusive pins!


While most Homecoming events are free and walk-up registration will be available at the Welcome Home Experience on October 23 and at Poet Fest Fan Zone on October 24, we encourage you to register in advance and let us know which activities you plan to attend so we can prepare the best experience for everyone.

Pre-Registration Deadline: October 16
Registrations received after this date may not include a printed name badge available at check-in or Poet Fest Fan Zone. This deadline does not apply to reunion celebrations.

Friday, October 23


10AM- 3PM | Wardman Library Open House

Come browse the library main floor on a self-guided tour of lobby cases and archival items.  Extra yearbooks (beyond what we keep for the archives) will be available for purchase.


11AM | Campus Tour | Meet at the Campus Center-Ettinger Patio

Explore the new and exciting parts of the Poet campus and reminisce in places that still feel so familiar. Join this guided walking tour with Student Ambassadors from the Office of Admission.


12-1PM | Poet Musicale | Memorial Chapel

Enjoy a showcase of outstanding students, faculty, and alumni talent, presented by the Department of Music. Choir alumni are invited to perform the school song, "Friends Forever," along with students.  A reception will follow on the Arnold Hall patio.

2:30-4:30PM | Planned Giving Seminar | Dezember House

3PM | Welcome Home Experience | Shannon Center Patio

Start your Homecoming weekend by officially checking in, reconnecting with fellow Poets, and celebrating your return to campus. Stop by the Homecoming Welcome Experience to pick up your weekend materials, capture your first Homecoming memories with photo opportunities, connect with friends, and prepare for the weekend ahead. Following the welcome experience, join President Kristine Dillon ’73 and campus leadership for the annual State of the College as we celebrate Whittier’s progress, achievements, and exciting future


3-4:15PM | Industry Forum: The Business of People in the Age of AI | TBA

Join us for an engaging panel and networking event open to students and alumni.  


5PM | State of the College | Ruth B. Shannon Center for the Performing Arts, Robinson Theater

Hear the latest from campus leadership.  Join us for a reception at 4:15 PM, presentation will follow at 5 PM.

11 AM | Athletic Alumni - Men's Basketball Game | Graham Athletic Center



11AM- 1PM | DIS Copenhagen Alumni Brunch | Arnold Hall Patio

Join the Office of International Programs (OIP) for a relaxed Homecoming Brunch as we welcome our friends from DIS Copenhagen. 


1PM-3PM | Model United Nations - Past, Present, and Future Participants | Wardman Library, Poet Corner

Join us for a brief program that will highlight the most recent Model United Nations of the Far West conference hosted by Whittier College.  For more information, contact Professor Emeritus Mike McBride at mmcbride@whittier.edu.


1-5PM | Poet Fest Fan Zone | Memorial Stadium

What to expect: Celebrate with fellow Poets at the All-Society Mixer, spark new connections at Affinity meet-ups including Alianza de los Amigos and Whittier College Black Alumni Association. Enjoy delicious no-host food and drinks while dancing to the high-energy sounds of Soul Authority featuring David Ayala '81.  Stop by the Faithful Friends booth, stock up on exclusive Poet merch, and don't miss the debut of our limited-edition commemorative pin blind envelopes - available only at Poet Fest while supplies last.  It's an afternoon of Poet pride that leads up to the kickoff of the much-anticipated Homecoming football game. 


5PM | Poet Football Returns | Memorial Stadium

Be there for a historic moment as the Poets take the field for their first Homecoming football game in six years! Join generations of Whittier alumni, students, families, and friends as we fill Memorial Stadium with Poet pride and cheer on the next chapter of Whittier Athletics.


Secure game day tickets in advance here.  Tickets purchased on this registration page will be available for pickup at will call on October 24 before kickoff.


6PM | Parade of Athletes | Memorial Stadium Track

Parade of Poet Athletes, bringing back the tradition of half-time around the track ( all sports alumni encouraged to participate).  Meeting time and location TBA
