Cinema & Pipes- A Symphonic Journey Through Film
Join the Whittier College community's restoration of the Memorial Chapel Organ with a symphonic evening of movie magic.
Come and walk the red carpet and enjoy a delightful afternoon of organ music inspired by film on Saturday, February 21.
Organists and musicians will perform selections from Star Wars, The Sound of Music, Bridge Over the River Kwai, and more. There will also be improvised scorings of two silent short films, one of which was shot on the Whittier College campus over a century ago.
The concert will be followed by a reception with traditional movie treats perfect for a night at the cinema.
