About

Collegiate athletic programs across the country are facing the unprecedented challenge of cancelled seasons.

In an effort to help his beloved Poet baseball program navigate through, Adam Elberg ’91 will match every $9 gift (or more) for baseball, dollar for dollar up to $4,500. We need every baseball fan to pitch in. If we can collectively reach $4,500, Adam will match that $4,500 – bringing the total raised to $9,000.

This challenge is dedicated to the number 9. Why? Nine was the number on Adam’s Poet jersey. Baseball is played over 9 innings and there are 9 starting positions. It’s 90 feet from home plate to first base, and most importantly, there is $9,000 at stake for Poet baseball.

Your gift of $9 or more will help meet Adam’s challenge and will help fund the team’s operating needs like travel expenses, uniforms and gear, equipment, field maintenance, and other essentials needed to enhance the program for our student-athletes.
